Other than Kildare, Abbeyleix & Durrow I haven't had fish & chips anywhere within an asses roar of Kilkenny so I'm no use for suggestions
Even the place I used to stop in Urlingford has changed hands & gone downhill
Places down my way are too far a ride for most as be 3hr from East side of the country
Anywhere nice in wexford or cork?

Fish Dash - Mother Hubbards Cashel - 13th October
As per the other post how about Sunday the 13th in Mother Hubbards in Cashel 12ish Central for most, nice selection of food (not just fish) and great parking. Plus some mountain trails near by for those who like to get down and dirty...
