Due to recent medical issues ect,I have traded in a very fast,fun S1000r for a full on comfy 1200RT tourer...(and I'm only 40!!!!)

I am now part of the RT club,lets hope I enjoy the more sedate lifestyle.My view at the moment getting out on any bike is better than non at all.

I had a 1200GSA for three years,completed a lot of touring and had lots of fun with it,hence I've gone for the air cooled,thoughts been should ride similar to the GS?

It was like warp speed on the enterprise.....just needed the zimmer frame afterwards!

Great machine, but I've had to wrap it up due to back, neck and white finger issues. Not got a zimmer frame yet though. Enjoy your new RT
