Nice pics of the Grey Heron...............but dont get too worried about your bunnies - that is a Photoshopped fake.........thankfully. Look closely at the birds bill and at where the rabbit is "caught"

Herons eat aquatic prey generally, but will take young waterbirds if things get tough.........a bunny is taking things a bit too far.

Vireo is right ........................
We have about six of these Herons every day at the bottom of one of the wet fields..........they are mostly after frogs..............and have seen rabbits in close proximity to them and no probs from either species.........
Great bird the Grey Heron............"the patient killer of the marshes".......
