Got a txt from Ronno, he is having a ball as usual im Vaterland :thumb

Apparently they had a couple of good days im Schwartzwald this week. He is taking his old man and Mum to the Museum at Speyer today.

Weather good so far.

Deutschland Ober Alles, Zum Wohl Ronno :beerjug:

Got the same text myself Alte. A strange mix of bad english and german. Seems to be having a good time alright. :beerjug:

It's Mrs Ronno's birthday today so as a special treat, I've found this wee Internet Cafe in Jockgrim to log in and see all the excitement we're missing on UKGSer.

Yesterday, as a really special romantic treat for her, we rode over to Alsace, France and did some shopping in the picturesque Petit France area of Strassbourg.

Oh, and I also took her for a tour of the Natzweiller Struthof Concentration Camp.

Who says, I dinnae ken how tae show a wummin a guid time?

Anyway, enough of this...places to see and bier to be drunk

See yiz on Sunday :thumb2

Ah, but why can he not organise such a thing in his adopted homeland - why do we just get camping in Glen Clova?:nenau ;)

And belated happy birthday to the lovely person in Ronno's life who lets him out to play with us: happy birthday Christine.

Now there is an interesting suggestion  ;)

They should be on board the ferry by now, enjoying the Seafood Buffet and a malt no doubt  :D

The greeting that we got from our wee dog was worth the holiday alone

After you do the report give these guys a bell :augie

Just back from the old Schwartzwald myself on todays ferry. I'll post a few pics soon (although still havn't posted my Czech trip in june yet:o ). The D500 Schwarzwald HochenStrasse is simply the best biking road I've been on bar none. Its like they have taken Donnington and rolled it out along the top of the black forrest and extended it to 60km of high speed bends, my tyre is wrecked:clap:clap

Didn't see Herr Ronno and Christine though.

Where does the B500 go between Triberg and Freudenstadt? Last month I crossed into Germany at Waldshut and followed the 500 to Triberg but after that my map wasn't very clear :blast Went via Hornberg, Schramberg, Freudenstadt and stayed the night in Baiersbronn, picking up the 500 again to Baden-Baden the next day.
Missed Jockgrim too cos of the scale of the map.
