Won't be coming along now 'cos my 650 is brakeless The front pipe got trapped between the wheel and the fork yesterday thanks to a previous owner not fitting the retaining clip at the fork bridge - an interesting ride home last night with no front brake
The lanes around Watton-at-Stone and Brookmans Park were nice on the way into work yesterday anyway and with the weather forecast you should all have a good time. Hopefully see you next time.
I tried to get hold of a pipe today but with no luck so it's going to be a week or more before one arrives from Germany. The non-ABS are much easier to get.
Myself and a mate Lootch is coming along if that is ok guys. Myself taking the HP2 offroad for the first time so please be gentle Lootch is on a KLR and we are currently fitting a bash plate and crash bars
We started out with 11 riders and had a great day which ran a little behind schedule due to 2 punctures so I missed one section which meant we where about 8 miles shy pf a 100 mile loop.
For the last riders standing…I called the pub (I know the landlord, he was the guy walking his dog as we rode away) at the end of the last trail and he confirmed that Maverick and Lootch had ridden of, so we where right in assuming they’d headed home.
Thanks for a great day out guys and enjoyed it very much Dave could you kindly post or email the pic where I landed up in the ditch...now who said HP2's don't crash well
