Anybody fancy this?

Starting from StAlbans at 6.30 I'll save the worst ruts down the most overgrown lane till dark.

If we crack on it'll take 4 hours - 11XX safe if the riders up for riding making progress

I lived in St Albans for 40 odd years and I cant think of any off road areas.

even Hixberry lane has gates across.

be interested to hear where you are going.

Will be at on Harpenden common next Wed. if you're going.

tkc or tourance suitable?

turnip there are loads of green lanes around herts suitable for bikes.

Hixberry Lane - StAlbans own Byway it's open I road it last night.

My route goes across to Hertford up to the East of Stevenage across to Luton and back down to St Alban it fits in almost every Byway and UCR within that area creating a 100 mile route.

I'm working on an extension across to Chesam that will add another 40 miles

What's on at Harpendon next Wed?

Its the classics on the common show, pretty big, bikes normally meet under trees.

Scooters in Southdown.

causes gridlock on A6 !!

If weather is ok its a good night out.

Glad Hixberry is open again, once had to use it on a Guzzi le mans because a funny white granada with red stripes was chasing me !

I'm still in Bath but if I leave soon - any idea where you will be around 7.30pm (ish) ?
