29th or 30th are a free for me at the moment, do you want a tour of Hertfordshire? It's not a patch on North Wales ;-)
I'm happy to host a tour of the local pubs the night before and have crash space at mine.
An alternative is we have Nathan plan us a salisbury plain route - are you there Nathan? - That would give use some high speed fun.
Due to work commitments i don't think i'm likely to be available for this weekend, but i am thinking of planning something for the christmas-new year week if anyones interested?
The Loop i took Loz and Wreford on around the plain last time was pretty much 100 miles, but this doesn't take into account anywhere near the number of trails on the 'plain, so there is plenty of room for expansion.
Another option is to include the tracks south of salisbury (around the race course), and out to shaftesbury and back on the old droves, and then head north up onto the rest of the plain (as per the last loop).
Along the same lines, the loop i did last time got as far as tidworth and headed south, but theres no reason why we couldn't continue east, towards hungerford and coombe gibbet, before crossing the A34 around whitchurch, and doing some of the trails south of basingstoke before heading for home.
It's just a shame most of the trails around alresford are now RB's, or i could drag you down to butser hill..

I think this big ride has a good mix of riding, everything from chalk downs to tank tracks, to serious clag (anyone ridden around bentworth lately

).
What are the thoughts on this??
there is a pub over the road from me that does accommodation for those that find the prospect of all the above and a long drive home to much for one day..
