I would have thought that there was nothing a decent rider couldn't have got through on a GS with TKC's

Probably just a couple of sections where the GS would be 'interesting', some deep clay bits and an uphill chalk and flint bit.

Sorry it was all planned on a map with a marker pen and my navigation is from memory.

I could ride it on my GS1150 although I'd expect to drop my bike a few times and my pace would be well off pogo stick speed.

If your new to offroading I'd suggest buying an OS map, marking up a few Byways and going out and gettinga feel for it.

Sorry i wiped the track log by mistake when I reloaded my luxembourg maps.

Remember that chalky climb with the flint steps? For Hertfordshire it must be one of the most technical climbs we have.

Well I rode it on Saturday without a problem because a 4X4 club was having a 40 vehicle event and that hill was a special stage and to ensure they’d all make it the hedges had been cut back and a pre vehicles had run up to widen the track.

So a great lane that I had yet to clear on my pogo is now an easy ride on my GS

You should have given me a shout, might have come with you.

I was out on the 520 with the Essex TRF on Sunday, hit a fallen tree trunk with my head, cracked the shell of the helmet, (brand new helmet bought on Saturday) probably saved my life.

Be carefull out there !!!
