Hertfordshire Wombat Hunt - Sunday 19 March 2006

Looks like I should be able to make this one as well :D :

Should be on the 80GS with TKCs. Might try and get my brother to bring his XT500 as well, just for the fun of watching him trying to kickstart it in the middle of a ford ......

It's gunna be a good'un - better work out where we're going!

Do we want mud or wet or neither or some old git hurling abuse for leaving mud on the road? What us?

Greg

I'd prefer the non-slippy stuff as that grass was a right tw@t to get through last time. Me and the other guy on the GS12 were sinking and as I recall he narrowly avoided my head when I fell off.

Gravel, forestry and water is great :)

I could only do the day before, and only after the piano tuner has done his work (say 11 am out the door).

Any good?

Nope going out 2 days on the trot is a no no. Was thinking more the w/e 's before, i might go out somewhere tomorrow, can you send me the route?

Dave, if you are going out tomorrow (5th March), let me know coz I may well meet up with you. It's about time I dusted off the DRZ and put some dirt on it.
Anyone else up for it?

I can't do tomorrow, but maybe next weekend.

Haven't done a route yet, unless you mean the same fords run that we did before.

Greg

Well Dave, are we out tomorrow? - or shall I put my off-roading gear back in the garage and just ride uo to the Ace for a breakfast?

Bill, I'm up for off-roading tomorrow, do you know any routes in Herts?

I'll drink another glass of wine and sit in front of the computer to see if there is any (positive  ) response.

The only ones I know of are from the last Herts Wombat hunt - do you want the waypoints/tracks ?

:nenau fekked if I know.......I'm just gonna turn up atthe Ace tommorrow and see what happens......if we can raise a posse or someone knows of some routes I'll follow and we'll have a giggle...if no one does, I'll see if anyone wants to go for a sunday afternoon ride and I'll make up a route off the top of me head down towards Abinger Hammer and the back lanes down there........if no one does, I'll go home via the chute up to Meopham and get pissed before watching 24 :D

So let's get to the Ace and take it from there ;)

I'll be there around 10 I hope - I was going Pogoing in the afternoon, but as the wife is at work anyway...

I'll load up the GPS with Surrey wombat hunt waypoints just in case :D

Sorry Phil, I didn't get back to you.

I'll pop down to the Ace, on the GS, but Tyres prohibit off roading!!!
