Hi, Does anyone fancy a bit of casual Green Laning around Herts this Saturday (26th April) Mid afternoon or Sunday Morning? I'm based in Hertford so will probably start near there (possible Essendon)...

I can't i'm afraid Steve, am child rearing for the whole weekend.

I met a couple of chaps on the lanes just north of Tewin, one on a BMW 450 & the other on an older thumper, last weekend. They were out of Essex they said. Seemed like nice enough guys...

I am heading out Saturday (3rd May) morning with Tom ( Dont know his username) from Potters Bar.

I am aiming to meet at around 10:30 / 10:45 in potter Bar

I will be doing quite a big circuit, most of which I have never been on before, so it may take some time

Is anyone up for a casual this weekend, 10th & 11th? Sat mid/late afternoon or Sunday?
I get my bike back from it's first service Saturday lunchtime. No doubt they'll have cleaned it to divert the pain of the bill, so it'll need dirtying up again.

Hi Steveh, yes i may be up for the 1st June providing of course we are talking R1200GS suitable lanes as I am on road biased Dunlop Trailmax tyres and anything too serious is beyond both me and the tyres...but then again it could be my lack of skill! Where did you have in mind, I live in Royston Herts but happy to travel.

I've only been once before around here...

I'm on a pogo however and I must admit that when I last went a month ago the thought of taking a my GS would of been a bit much. To the west of the A10 there are a few routes i was thinking of checking out however I must stress I am armed with only a map....ie. no actual knowledge of the routes.
