Hi - wondering if the forum can help me.

my new(ish) to me R1300GSA had been fitted with a Hex EZ-CAN controller by the previous owner - it currently only controls a set of Denali lights.

With colder weather approaching I was looking to connect up my Keis Heated gear (I have a heated gilet and insoles by Keis) - rather than simply going direct to battery with the Keis lead, I understand that the EZ_CAN can be setup to power the lead - and that control could be matched to, for example, the heat setting on the heated grips - which seems quite a good idea.

the EZ_Can unit uses 3-pin Sumitomo MT connerctors - the ones in the "triangle" layout. I understand that I need Pin1 to connect the positive lead and PIn2 to connect the neutral (blanking Pin3 - the control pin - as its not used on the two-cable lead)

Can anyone tell me which is "Pin1" and "Pin2" on these triangle units?

AI tells me it should be marked on the cable entry points but it isn't. It also tells me that is is the left most pin when looking at the mating edge of the connector - but a zoomed in image of the Keis pre-build connector seems to differ from that,

anyone know which pins I should be using?

(yes I know you can buy one ready made - but its £30 + postage and I have a few keis connector leads kicking around and the MT connector was only a couple quid!)

thanks in advance
