I bought a Hex ezCAN II from Nippy's yesterday and having read through the user guide, and watched the install video's, I think I'm a little in data overload right now, so would just like to check with those of you that have installed one of these, that my understanding is right before I go ahead to install on my R1250GS.
So - what I'm looking to install is a set of the Wunderlich Spots (2-wire spots), my INNOVV K3 and my Wunderlich heated seat by connecting them to the exCAN. The configuration of the ezCAN I understand, its the wiring I just need assurance on.
Both the Wunderlich spots and the Wunderlich heated seat came with a switch and relay as standard. Am I right in assuming that I don't bother with either the switch or the relay and just connect the spots and the heated seat directly to the ezCan?
Regards the INNOVV, my understanding is that I connect both the positive and negative (that normally go to the battery) as well as the ignition triggered positive to the ezCAN directly as well (the ignition triggered wire going to the PWM/data control wire on the stub connector).
Apologies if the above sounds dumb to those in "the know" but I thought better to check before I install. Thanks for your help.
