I've just ordered one of these Hex Ezcan things. Looks brilliant.

I had the Stebel Nautilus Horns on my ZZR1400 Performance Sport last year (2 of them each side behind the fairings) and they were LOUD... very appropriate for that bike and sounded like a Freight Train (I kid you not). So I still have these removed and in my garage to use.

I also use the CREE LED Lights, as discussed earlier, on my Winter bike - Bandit 1250. I've used these exact lights through UK Winter with rain and salt, actually mounted upside down. I filled the cable hole with clear silicon sealant which stops water ingress and repainted the mounting bracket supplied with the lights as it had corroded badly, but the actual body of the light paintwork held up well. Bargain cheap, and very effective.

I'm going to buy another set and here are some comparison pics below of my two bikes side by side... (Note: They are MUCH brighter in real life, camera pics tone them down).

Question for Ice-Tags. When might we expect to see Eurpean type approval and be able to source the EZCan's a little closer to home?

I bought mine in the |USA when I was over there last month. $165 dollar + over night shipping to the hotel at $20. Shame the exchange rate wasn't a bit better. After conversion, a few quid shy of £170

Hi fredaroony

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experiences with the Hex ezcan. I have just ordered mine, along with a Denali Soundbomb horn, and I have already installed Denali D4 auxiliary lights in my motorcycle (2017 BMW R1200gs Rallye). I have a question regarding the "horn feature". According to the Hex ezcan diagram, the device has four channels (two 25a channels, one 10a channel recommended for accesories, and one 10a channel for a stop light). My question is: if you use one of de 25a channels for the aftermarket horn, then how do you connect the auxiliary lights? do you have to splice the remaining 25a channel to connect it to the auxiliary lights? or do you connect the horn to the accesories channel?

Thank you very much in advance for your help

That is correct ORION6806 and exactly how I have connected mine up. I soldered the two positives and two negatives from the lights together and then connected to the remaining 25a channel. :beerjug:

Installed a set of LED brake lights this weekend through the brake channel. They are on the top box therefore higher up so that cars can see my brakes easier. All done through a plug so I can remove the top box if I want to. Works really well :D

Just read it Warlord....sounds awesome. I'll be interested to read/see how it works assuming it does as you have described in the other thread.... good luck.:beerjug:

Yeah, I'll get it all ordered today and update the other thread with details and progress...

What plug did you use? Been looking for some myself. I like the AddMore Lighting connectors.

Oh right, I dont think it can do that either. Not yet anyway but it's firmware upgradeable.

I think if you turn the low beam down to zero both day and night and set the high beam to whatever you choose for day and night in the software configuration it will achieved the desired Spots on full beam only.
