There are loads of Denali / Nautilus type airhorn mounting brackets for the LC but have been unable to find any brackets to mount
the chunky compact airhorn on my 2012 R1200GS. I'm sure these used to be available. (looking to mount the one-piece horn not the split type)
Any ideas ?
TIA
John

I will send you some photos of how I did mine

Its an S shaped bracket if i recall

Just be aware the combined unit wont fit where you should place it on an LC if you have lowered suspension, you need the split unit and the compresser sits up in the beak headstock area

Chances are it will be the same for the hexhead / tc varients

Hi John there are 2 un used lugs on the R/H down tubes on my 2009 GSA which I used I made a bracket from a flat plate and fitted the compact sound bomb easily clear of everything just above the standard horn

the 8mm nut / bolt is the single and only mounting for the horn the 6 mm bolt above it is a 6 x 50 mm bolt that is there to prevent the horn jumping off its single mounting the lower 6mm stud is 6 x 75 mm and is there to keep the horn from fouling the front damper spring the 5 washers are just to pack the bracket to keep the horn in the right position and vertical

Thanks Ian - useful - I can't see ESA on your bike though ? The ESA motor on mine means even less room for the horn.

Thanks the all the suggestions. This is the bracket I knocked up this afternoon.
With the ESA motor, space is quite limited but I think there's sufficient clearance - just.
Part A is the main bracket and B is to provide stability for A. IMG_2541.jpegIMG_2542.jpeg
