What does "Hexhead" mean, in the context of the name of the 2004-2013 1200GS? Confused....

I've looked and I can't make out a hexagon shape to the cylinder head on my 2011 GSA!

Still not getting it.
By that rationale, I should be called Hexhead by the shape of my knob...
Can't see anything remotely resembling a hexagon.
Look at the flats on each end of the rocker cover, they resemble a sort of a hexagon
Compare that to the rocker cover of 1150/1100 which is oval in shape
