Hexhead?

Flippin 'eck Tucker. Put yer handbags away chaps.

Having looked at the pic above, I can't seen any resemblence with a Hexhead in any way shape or form. But if thats what you want to call it, then I couldn't give a f*ck.

Looks more like a flippin Murray Mint than a Hex Head in my book:

How about "R1200GS Air Cooled"? Or is that too simple?

Still not getting it.

By that rationale, I should be called Hexhead by the shape of my knob...

Can't see anything remotely resembling a hexagon.

Ermm.......am I the only who is intrigued by why a knob is hex-shaped? There's a line of jokes just waiting for this one....

'So he could WRENCH the end off it while watching 'hexcetera' on late night tv?:blast

Specsavers, Pearls before swine and a pre-disposition not to understand seems prevalent.

Frankly I'm scared to share the roads with those of you that can't or won't see it.

Try a Harley or a jet-ski or extreme ironing.

if it helps your anguish at all, i don't like the name either :)

the head clearly has 6 sides though :aidan

It's copied from what the Americans call them. Should have left it at oilheads and used what the Americans call the wet head.

Isn't it called a regular hexagon when all sides (and as it happens angles) are equal.

And don't we now have
Airhead
Oilhead
Hexhead
Camhead
Blackhead ;)
Wethead

As options

lols

but yea it does have 6 sides :P maybe a squashed hexhead?

isn't that a camhead (spark plug cover is wrong for the hexhead) :hide

apart from the spark plug cover, they look pretty much the same. i think it will still help the specs dodgers here to get a grip on the bleedin' obvious :P

anyhoo, they are all lumped in the hexhead forum, so it must be right.

So assuming it's a hexhead .... where can I get a spanner big enough to remove the rocker covers :nenau
