HG Tuareg Trail Jacket/Trousers

has anybody got any of this kit ,I quite fancy it for summer !!but put off when the guy told me it was'nt waterproof,

so is it waterproof ? is it warm ?(windproof) is it any good.

Yes I have it, no it's not. Light showers at the most!, but the crotch is a damp attractor as its stretch cotton!




But I did buy it for the summer, so hopefully it'll be warm rain

The Tuareg stuff is great, but if you're wearing it for the road, make sure that it has cordura as some of the trail stuff won't give much in the way of abrasion resistance.

It's a 3 season suit, but makes no attempt to be waterproof. And it's this way by design.

It has A huge number of zippable Vents to allow air flow on the hot days and these zip shut for protection from the cold.

I have the Taureg GTX which has the Goretex liner; without provides for an excellent summer jacket with the air vents front and back to keep you cool; add the liner and you have winter warmth. Have ridden all winter with a tee shirt and thin jumper underneath.

Cannto rate it enough - over £500 for Trousers and Jacket but well worth it in my opinion
