Select pic in iPhoto

From 'File' drop-down menu select export or shift+cmd+E

The export dialogue box appears so select File Export [upper LHS]. Here you can select:

file type - select JPEG
Quality
Size, s,m,l or full size as well as custom

Click Export and another dialogue box appears giving you the chance to name the new files and to select a destination for it.

from the where drop-down menu select a destination or press cmd D to set the destination as the desktop.

Click OK

Click export

Return to desktop and find the file.

Hold the cmd [command] button down as you select pictures. This way you can select more than one picture then follow the above to resize the selected pictures.

cmd [command] button is found to the left or right [or both] of the space bar.

Sorry if this is a bit late = just got in from work:(

Boxer and Lo-IQ are both right - as is often the way with computers (of all persuasions) there is more than one way to skin the cat.

So here is a third option :augie

Ok so on the desktop ctrl - click and select new folder name it resized pics.
Open iphoto and drag photos you want to resize into the folder.
When done open the folder and press cmd and A together ( cmd is the key with the apple on it next to the spacebar) to select all the photos.
Double click on any photo and they will all open in preview, as Lo-IQ said - it is a mac program and usually the default image viewer.
Go to tools in the top menu bar and the 4th option down is adjust size.
Where it says fit into - then custom- then pixels, select that and from the drop down menu you have a set of size options choose one and all the photos will be resized accordingly!:clap

No doubt someone will be along with a fourth method in the morning!
