..........any thing i should be aware of?
Yes, its gonna cost ya a lot of money, coz you will end up buying one, trust me!
When I rode tested my first GS some 15 months ago, it was done for one reason only, to prove once and for all that I hated it. After all, it looked odd and ugly and it was, as far as I was concerned an old mans stead. Hence, I would not be seen dead on a BMW.
So before I had even ridden it, I was so sure that I was going to hate it.
How wrong can anyone be?
In fact, within the first few miles of riding the darn thing I was grinning from ear to ear.
After a three hour road test on a brand new Adventure with just 200 miles on the clock, I had one huge regret, I had wasted so much of my biking life not on a GS.....which is a shame.
Nearly twelve months on and some 12,000 miles later, I still love it exactly the same as the day it rolled out the showroom.
I remember to this day, returning back to the dealer, taking my helmet off and sitting on the wall by the side of the bike and just staring at the bike, shaking my head in utter disbelief.
My other regret, is maybe I should have bought the Adventure, but I could not give you a valid and logical reason as to why.
Still......... theres always next year to put that one right........
