+1 Wot he said. In the 04 manual in the index under fuses, it gives you a page number, go to said page as directed and guess what? it says there are no fuses on the bike
I did this 4 years ago

I just figured out who Irish Paddy is.
Spokes are fine, still on the bike and with a new owner I've moved away from the 12 to other examples of BMW's art
Welcome to the collective. The only relay on the 12GSA that BM designed is for the fog lights but unfortunately I have no idea of the connection.
Do remember a similar post a while back so might be worth checking out the search option.

Just read your initial posting again and noticed it's the GS not the GSA your talking about.
I'd heard this was going to be an option at some point when I got my 08 in January, even found the mounting points on the front sub frame.
How do the lights connect to the bike? Is it to existing points on the wiring loom or direct to the battery?

THE KIT PLUGS STRIGHT INTO WIRING LOOM UNDER TANK HAS SAME SWITCH GEAR AS ON 08 ADV HANDLEBARS, NICE LOOKING BIKE COLLECTION U HAVE NOW SULTAN OF BLING
