After seeing how many fellow Tossers are called `Wolf` or have `Wolf` in their name (Wolf Tosser etc - gotta be careful how you say that......) it seemed easier to put a post on the forum then PM each one!
Anyway.................
I don`t know if I will get the right `Wolf` but I saw it on the topbox of a GSA whilst waiting for the Corran ferry (I was on my way from the peninsula to Fort William). I rode round after not getting on the ferry and oh wasn`t that a pain - guys £2.20 well spent on the ferry!
I am Mark Hooton (the geezer who makes the gear for our beloved bikes) and just wanted to say `hi`.
You had the `Tosser` symbol on the pannier and as I said `Wolf` on the topbox - I was a few bikes behind and simply wanted to say hello because I am normally too bloody busy to get to the meets to simply meet fellow bikers for a good gibber and beer (and wine.....).
Bloody awful weather eh? did you go far?
Anyway, two things which might be of interest/help - tyres are nearly impossible to find up in the Highlands/West scotland quickly so some advice to anyone interested - please make sure you have lots of thread left (I had to take a spare up for my mate as he couldnt get one for days.......). Also, possibly one of the best routes ever ever is travel from Fort William to Spean bridge and hang a right (the road eventually takes you to the main Inverness road) but OMG 26 miles of just pure, lovely bends
I couldn`t believe it, fantastic even in the wet!
