Hi Vis Helmet Stickers

Perhaps a bonkers question but do I need to fit the now (2016) compulsory reflective helmet sticker to my already ultra bright Schuberth Hi-Vis yellow helmet for my ride to France in a weeks time.

Also, it would appear that now we bikers don't need to carry a warning triangle?

I've seen the fold up versions that you can put over the top of your helmet to warn oncoming vehicles about your broken down GS, however I feel more than reluctant to sit my Schuberth down on a gravelly road into the path of oncoming vehicles, and even worse if it's raining, so can anyone recommend a good lightweight foldaway biker version, if I need to carry one?

All you need is easy access to a hi-viz waistcoat thing - you don't need to wear it, it's just in case you break down, are you on a 1200?

I bought a pack of those stickers and those stupid little breathalyser things, I chuck them in my pannier just in case.

Unless something has changed you don't need Hi Viz vest for a bike they are exempt.

But saying that if you say stop to assist a stranded motorist or help them change a tyre you would benefit from one - but I think stopping to assist someone else is also prohibited on an autoroute??

Hi, it's been difficult trying to find anything definitive via Google but I am aware that there are new laws for 2016, however as I do actually ride in a Hi-Viz jacket and with my ultra bright hi-viz Schuberth I'm certainly not invisible!

So it looks like I'm covered unless someone else says different? Cheers.
