Hi-vis jacket

Just been looking at these on UK ebay. Normally, I'd be a large, and that sizing chart puts me in that window, but above comment about buying larger has me wondering. Thoughts on sizing? This one says it has a liner? Hood?

Cruise Jkt is GTX Bonded

Thanks, I've just had a look Gortex at 269 and Sheltex at 179. I was looking for the newer type of Gortex that is bonded to the outer layer of clothing. I have it in 2 jackets BMW and H-G both dark colours. I would not like to go back to the old system. JJH

Don't know if the numbers refer to catalogue. I must have the old one.

February sale has the Cruise Jkt in 'Daylight Gtx Jkt'. It is a bonded Goretex/Cordura jkt.
Found it very waterproof and a tad too warm in the summer.
Yes I did take the Thinsulate liner out!

The Sheltex jkt will be much the same. Jkt bonded to the outer fabric with, Sheltex of course. A Goretex copy.

The ones I have bought from onestopcopshop on ebay have been Bomber Jacket style and therefore work fine on a motorbike. The one you have linked to looks more like a 3/4 jacket and might not be so suited to bike riding as it might be a bit long. For that style I reckon the sizing chart would be fine. I also reckon it does have a hood as you can see a hood in the picture. Don't know if it folds up under the collar or is removable.

The Bomber Style HiViz jackets I bought do not have hoods

This one is a Medium/Tall - phone One Stop Cop Shop on 01749 605007 and ask if they have any large in stock. They get stock in all the time and therefore might not have everything they have showing up on their ebay shop

I got a Large patrol coat originally, which was huge. I sent it back and got a medium, which is too small ! Medium is for 5'7'' ish adn 36 inch chest !! I couldn't bring myself to send it back again. Should have kept the Large.

I then got a bomber style jacket - XXL/short which is just the right size for me, worn over normal jacket. I'm 5'9'' and 40 inch chest. Haven't worn the bomber jacket in very heavy rain yet. I'm worried it might not be long enough and I'll get water round the midriff..

The quality is excellent given the price.
