Can take 5K and less to start burning the reflector.

K is only the colour, you can put any K in dependant on use or if a cheap burner could mark the lens, wattage does the damage, if a shallow lens go less watt, or use the new Ceramic Core burners, they seem to be doing the job

I've done about 17k since getting burners from Les, can't say I've seen any damage or marking to the reflectors yet 55W jobbies too

Though I'll see your 17K and raise you up to 80K for a ballast and two bulbs. The first bulb was still working but replaced with a H7R.
