the high postage prices is because they all ship from HongKong

Hopefully he'll turn out to be a good seller, since I've just ordered a set!

35W H3's in 4,300k colour temperature - all in, including delivery, US $126.99 (that works out to be about GBP 66.50) - they're getting to be almost as cheap as the best replacement Halogen Bulbs!

I think the high postage fees are more to do with reducing the Ebay fees than a true representation of the shipping cost from Hong-Kong) - I may be wrong, but I think you only pay Ebay based on the selling price and not postage. I'm happy, since the selling price was lower as a result - it's just important that you look at the total price.

Because the package said: "motor part, gift no commercial value", I didn't have to pay another ~30€ on top of item+shipping for the customs. So in the end we each paid ~49€ for a kit, that's half what you would pay in NL for a single kit, if you search really well because they're much more expensive from 'normal shops' only difference is warranty, for this kind of money I'm willing to try my first Xenon

I paid £200 for mine from HID4U and they are so good I dont regret the expense at all. I have ridden throughout he winter in some really foul weather and they are probably the best primary safety expenditure that you could make.

Believe me, if yours are as good as mine you'll be a very happy Tosser:D

PS, do the head and the dip, open road riding in the dark becomes a real joy instead of the horror on standard lamps.

If you only do the dip you'll find it hard to know when the head beam is actually on except for the blue warning lamp:eek:

I've already done the 'head and dip' of my 1200 with 50W HID's courtesy of Colebatch - these are fantastic:D :D :D

I'm now going to do the Micro DE's - I've got a 50W kit (again from Colebatch), and am debating whether to go for the 50W'ers or the 35W'ers - I don't really need the light with the 50W HID 'main and dip', believe me :bounce1 :bounce1 , but the standard Halogen's in the Micro DE's do nothing now (and they've already got Sylvania SilverStar bulbs in).

The Micro DE's are really so that I am visible (the triangle pattern of the lights helps considerably), but they fade away a bit with the HID's in the 'main and dip'.

There's been a lot of discussion around how 'sensible' it is to have 50W HID's (and HID's at all) but, if you think the 35W ones are good, you should see the 50W ones:eek:

I've only been 'flashed' once so far, and that was when I was stopped on an 'up hill' waiting to turn right!

The kits arrived yesterday _ I haven't seen them yet, but the guy who received them for me said they look good.

If the quality is good, he gets the thumbs up from me - so far good price and good delivery (a week from China) and no import duty!

Anyone got any experience with this Ebay Seller of HID Kits?

It's hard to tell what the quality of the kits is like, but they look a good price (usual rip off on postage/some of the 'price' in postage to save Ebay fees)
