yeap will be in the post tomorrow. All used h4 kits are now gone. New ones available though.

Cars not blown up any more though.. HOORAAYYY, the first time ive done any work on a car really and ... a new engine in it. 8 hours to strip the engine out of another car, rip my hunk of junk out and install the new one. Not too bad i dont think... and i only almost dropped the car off the jacks once (lesson learnt!)

I did learn though, dont drop the drive shaft roller bearing on the floor (mumble grumble)

Enjoy the h4 kit. They are really clever yet simple peices of kit. :D

Heres a fitment guide very kindly pointed out to me by Mozzup who recieved his kit today.

This was created by Fanum. Many thanks for this.

This is only for installation in an 1150 btw.

Yep has gone on and working (makes a fair ole whine when on, wonder if that goes, can't hear it with bike going, just adds to other strange noises) the guide is well useful - my lamp hole didn't need filling.:eek

fell over my lurcher a few times (see guide :D)

yeah they do whine. ive found as they get used more and more that they go quieter.... that or you just dont notice it (probably this one).

Bright though isnt it! :) Wait till you try it at night.

light backup

Don't mean to be a worrywort (but usually am) what if the 'bulb' went abroad? do they 'go' and can you get hold of them easily? I was thinking I'd take the Halogen with me as it wouldn't be hard to put it back in, answered my own question here haven't I. :blagblah

good question, ive yet to have one "go" to be honest. They are supposed to last the life of the vehicle as there is no filament to break. So vibration prone bikes (like the gs) wont suffer with blown ones. As you say if you ever get REALLY stuck you could put in a normal bulb with no worries (obviously disconecting the ballast first!!! but to be honest, its not something i would worry about mate. Your more likely to break the bulb yourll be carrying around with you as a spare than the hid bulb failing.

am i too late for getting one of the HID kits....if so ..then welcome to my life!!
Glenn

finishing late isnt always a bad thing mate :augie

but in this circumstance your not too late and im presently putting together another order so if you want one let me know bud

paul

oh ive now got one in my cr500, now THATS a vibration machine. if it doesnt go in that, its not gonna go in anything!

instructions?

Hi Paul,
Kit arrived this morning thanks, are there instructions on here (1150GS) or can you post them please?
I could probably figure it out, but if someone else has already done that, I'll take the lazy way.
Thanks,
