Hi,
I asked this in the vendor section first in the thread of the Les Wassal HID lights but thought afterwards I should have placed it here, sorry for that
Anyway here it goes:
I fitted the Les Wassal HID (for dip beam only) to my 2005 R1200GS about a year ago (I think). Ever since, on seldom occasions, after engine start when the self check was completed, the signal for a faulty front bulb came on. The light worked faultless even though and the error signal usually disappeared after few km.
I was on a weekend trip now. The above mentioned signal came up at every engine start and never cleared itself. The HID-light worked faultless. Would have been much worse the other way round
It would be nice understand the reason behind and correct it. If someone could advice me where and for what I should look, I would be grateful
Thanks in advance

. When I bought the bike new 9 years ago, I remember that I wondered what purpose a sidelight on motorbike serves, but never thought about it afterwards, therefore it did not cross my mind now...
