Hid's

A little box arrived with 35w hid hella de's, mounting brackets and a 50w dip .
Well pleased with the lot. Very good value and top quality, ta Les.

I've fitted Les's kit to my 1200GSA, all seemed to go in OK except I thought the beam (main and dip) was too high as I was getting flashed a lot. I removed the headlight pod to make sure it was located properly and I've adjusted it down and now dip seems fine - but, main beam although it looks to be at the right height does a cracking job of illuminating the nearside hedge:blast

Any ideas? Are there any other adjustments anywhere, or is there anything I could have done wrong on the install?

thanks,

Took me a while to get mine right.

Check that the burners are absolutely in the right place in the lampholder. As the burners sit sightly ahead of the old bulb position they're quite sensitive to exact placement.

I still get flashed from time to time but that's just jealousy.

Lights now fitted and very bright, thanks again Les.

Hi Les..

How are your stock levels on H7 50W 6000K kits ???

Before me and our lass head off to Europe for a tour in a couple of weeks time we'd like to get a bit of an upgrade to the lights.

I know your kit will fit fine on my 09 GS... She has a CBR600RR... it takes an H7 bulb, so I assume there will be no problems. Have your kits had any problems when fitted to a Honda ???

Anyway I'll send you an email aswell...

Cheers

Hi Les,

Many thanks for the HiD lighting set which arrived today. I fitted them very quickly. The hardest part was getting the sidelight out!! They really are so easy to fit and I'm impressed with the entire purchase.

If anyone out there is thinking about getting an HiD kit I'd definitely recommend these, although I can't compare them with anything else and can only speak from personal experience. :)

Thanks again for your great service, Les. :beerjug:

New Member thinking of BMW Aux lights but need HID....

Can you help?

How much to kit the bike out with dipped and main and Aux

Also the thing i like about the BMW kit is the switch that comes with it?

What do these come with if any?

cheers

chris

In my experience you get what you pay for. As I did back in 07, I rode the 360mile round trip up to Les to have HIDs fitted to my 2010 GSA. 35w on the fogs and 50w on the dip, all 6k. The results are spectacular and the quality of the workmanship is outstanding. Having heard bad stories of dealers attempting to fit HIDs, I'll continue to make the journey to Les for his products and fitting skills when I next change the bike.

He also makes a cracking egg and bacon sandwich! Many thanks Les.
