I thought I would show of the full range of lights now that I have them all wired up. Quite pleased with the overall effect ..... A bit OTT? :eek

Sequence goes:

Led's (ICE LIGHT) and Side light
Plus Dipped HID
Plus BWM Fogs ( Standard bulbs .... not for long )
Plus Wunderlich Micro-flooters
Plus Main beam HID

Now the next person that says " Sorry mate , I didn't see you ....."

Looks great :thumb2

Please excuse my ignorance....but what is H.I.D ?

I want to improve my headlight. Is there a simple way of doing it i.e. replace the bulb? Is that what H.I.D is?

Gary,

HID = High Intensity Discharge ..... it means the bulbs are rplaced with gas filled "burners" that are ignited by arcing a high voltage current accross them. They are usually known as Xenons. They used to be really expensive, however you can now source kits off Ebay for as low as £40 a light to convert. If you are interested, search the site under HID and you will find loads of usefull twaddle all about the must have accessory. .....:thumb2

Were did you mount the ballast?

The only problem now is the ambulance chaser that tries to claim for the Sun Tan

Ballast (x2) for Low & High beam are mounted at the front of the tank one to the right of the "well" and one opposite the light unit. I will mount the ballasts for the Fogs either under the beak, or under the seat or rear rack - I haven't decided yet. When I have them fitted, I will post some photos.

Only one ballast mounted (at the moment ;) ) fitted it here.
