after some help here lads, bought some hid's of mr wassell of the parish, and im chuffed to bits:D, but after fitting em ive found once the engines started, it knocks out the radio reception:blast, so what im asking is, has anyone come across this before, and if some one has got hid's fitted with the radio, where did you mount your ballasts??, ive got mine mounted both together on a bracket comes off the fairing framing etc. from the oil cooler, that is just perfect:thumby:, everywhere else just didn't seem possible, ive read about peeps mounting em under where the speakers should be, but obviously I cant do that:blast

all help appreciated:thumby:

I had a similar issue when i mounted the hid boxes on the framework of a Vehicle, it was transmitting back thro the frame and knocking the radio signal out when i stuck the lights on, either mount the boxes on non metal or buy some of these.

ye that's exactly what it is, after much playin this afternoon, everytime you go near metal with the ballasts, you lose the radio completely, move em away, radio comes back, I don't think there gonna work on my rt if I wanna keep the radio, every where you look to fit the ballasts, its by metal, obviously if I hadn't got the radio you wouldn't have this issue, after having a good read on google, seems its been quite a problem for bm's with radios, a lot of people trying the ferrite rings with no success, one guy give up after a while, and just removed em:blast
