I've had a mainbeam HID unit in my bike from new.Les Wassall said:How well do they work on the high beam, (flash) as they take a second to get to full light,

There was mention of a TT main beam, but is that a HID kit or a redesigned lamp unit?
Burfcontrol said:The TT main beam is a redesigned HID lamp unit. It is a direct replacement for the original, simple enough to fit, all connections are plug and play, no cutting, crimping or soldering.only fiddly bit is the bolts to mount the ballast - I ended with one bolt and cable tie, still rock solid after 60,000 odd miles.
I've bought a few 'toys' over the years - autocom, radar detector, tobinators, H&B bars etc... and if I could only keep one this would be it.
