I suspect I've read too many threads on adding lights that work with high beam. I can't figure out where to route the wire to get at the high beam. There's apparently a 'grommet' on the headlight housing where you can feed a wire in, but I can't see it for the life of me. Or does one just drill a hole in the headlight casing? I'm assuming 'those that know' just tack on a bit of wire to the back of the bulb connector ???

Perhaps a pic would save a thousand words.

Although an innate ability to use search would probably alleviate some members blood pressures ;)

No pic handy, but the grommet is a small black rubber tube 1cm long that runs vertically along the back of the headlight unit and is pushed into the plastic at the top. On the dip beam, it's to the to right of the screw cap..... I can't remember exactly where it is on the high beam, but you'll find it.

The grommet is L shaped, so you pull it straight out of the headlight, thread your cable, and then adjust to suit before re-inserting.

... Sorry no photos, the 'grommets' are L-shaped, or perhaps boot-shaped, rubber appendages that protrude from the corners at the rear of the combined dip/main housing. 10mm long side, 5mm short side. There's about three of 'em and the giveaway id the lack of any cable protruding from them.

... looking from the riders seat check bottom-left for main beam, and bottom right hand corner for dip-beam.
