Up for sale is my cherished TRON Convergence Signature phonostage. I have had this upgraded version from about 2019 and it's recently been completely revalved with matched valves. Sound is simply sublime from any MC low to medium output moving coil cartridge. Only reason I'm parting with it, is my business needs mean that I now need a fully adjustable stage with plenty of load and gain options (so moving over to the dreaded S/S stages
) to allow the flexibility as part of my audio consultancy business to optimise client recommendations for the best match of phonostage to a wide variety of cartridges from high output MM's to low output MC's together with recommended loading and gain settings. This one is quite flexible as it is to standard MC specifications (up to 68dB gai at 100 Ohms loading) which suits most popular MC cartridges.
It is in excellent condition and was designed and hand built by the legendary Graham Tricker of GT audio, under his TRON brand, producing some of the world's finest valve amplifiers.
