Assuming that this is a genuine question ? of which I am really not convinced !!

They ARE from an 1100 GS, the idea is you fit the 1100gs tubes to other models, if you have an 1100gs there is not much point !!

Just take off the ones that are on your 1100GS and then put them back on:augie
Sorted.:blast

As the ad says,
Mid-range torque on these models can be boosted by fitting the air intake tubes from the R1100GS.:thumb

It's a well known mod. for 1100 RS and RT's...

You fit the tubes from a GS and it gives you more mid range at the expense of a little top end.

I did it on my R1100RS years ago, and it was a real improvement.

Hope that answers your question :augie

Sorry, that'll learn me not to check my typing before posting - I did of course mean a 1100RS :blast. Thanks!

Strange how people with RS and RT models are told it will improve their bikes if they fit the GS inlet tubes.

And people with GS's are told it will improve their bikes if they fit the RS/RT inlet tubes.

Not me. I like the top end power of my standard RS and the mid-range grunt of my standard GS. Why would I want two with the same characteristics?

I have a set of RS inlets in the parts box in the garage to go with the bigger inlet snooorkle, must try them one day for fun, try to make the gravel more interesting :rob
