Higher GSA Seat!!

Just got my seat for the GSA back from Motor Cycle Seat works near Bradford and impressed with the job done.

Had the seat made higher by taking out the dip at the front (I am 6' 3" tall) and had much denser foam fitted. First impressions over the 50 miles I did today, is that is is much more comfortable than the squidgy original. Also being higher there is a little more leg room.

Also had the colours reversed so should be easier to keep clean

It cost £75 to have recovered and re-profiled which sounds ok to me.

Wow - your the first person I've heard of having the seat height made taller on a GSA I'm 5'10 and have got the low seat version on mine, still tall for those moments when the front wheel goes up hill (i.e. driveway) and your feet are dangling!

It's also a very good anti theft device - very few people can actually get on the bike to ride off!!

Do I get the impression that there are quite a few GS'ers out there who are somewhat shorter in the leg than is ideal for riding a GSA

Still think how silly I look when I try and ride the Wife's Aprilia Falco
