Pissed off as we've been let down by regular riding buddies [you know who you are] so open to any takers if you fancy it?

No firm bookings or plans, as yet but ...........

Scottish Highlands and Islands - September out of school hols to less congested roads and less midges

Dates - Looking for a week['ish] away anytime mid September from Sunday 08 Sept thro till Wed 25 September

B&B's/ smaller hotels pref - not camping!

Beer and Banter rather than lots of Iron Butt miles- if you aint laughing it not worth the effort

As my long-suffering wife asks me "will you EVER grow up?"

"Making Progress" pace as opposed to bimbling or ragging :rolleyes:

All about enjoying the roads as well as enjoying the scenery - but sharing a few beers and alternating Table d'hote with fish and chips out the newspaper

Mature and experienced GS riders x 2 already locked in so looking for more people to make up a decent group

Start point can be anywhere as 1 rider starts in West Wales - one other in East Midlands

Had a long weekend down there a week ago,oban ,cambletown, a few islands,nd peninsula's. sure you will enjoy if the weather is half decent.

Sunset at mull of Kintyre was worth seeing, sneaked the gs round the locked gate to get down to the lighthouse .

We are going across to Arran for a couple of days on the 31st aug. then onto the mull of Kintyre for another three days. Then we are heading up to Oban for the next few days. then we are up to just south of fort William for 4 days where I am meeting up with a fellow gser. We both will be in motorhomes but we are taking the trailers with the gsa on the back. and we will be going across to Mull and up to Skye so we may be able to meet up for a ride out once you have sorted out you routes. I also fancy doing a day at moto Scotland off-roading.
 
I'm working up there for 2 weeks from the 9th September, so will be riding up from Warrington on my GSA on the 8th.

I will be heading to Inverness, so would tag along if you are heading past at the right sort of time. Could meet up a couple of nights for a ride out while I am up there.

Do you have a firm number on board?
I can't do until 14/15th Sept and would be travelling up from South Coast.
