Hilltop dates and details

Any word on my possible a.m. Fri 21st April? Or should I contact them direct?

Hi,
21/04/17 at 11:00 is what I have listed for you. I'll promote that date and fill the rest of the day. Put it in your diary.

Morning,

Can you please tell me what's the latest date available?

Need to get some miles on the bike, once I get it back from the dealer.

Also, having never been before but by joining the group buy/discount is the price £350 or £250 please?

Thanks in advance,

Daren

Hi Darren,
The group discount dates get you a discount if you are a new client. Instead of £350 (+£10 for non-BMW), it's £300 (+£10 for non-BMW).
If you're a first time visitor to Hilltop, these date save yo £50 and it means you will meet a few other forum members who, just like you, will have some interesting experiences to share.
PM me:
Name, bike model/year, email, mobile and if you are a returning client.

Hi John,

Quick note to say thanks for all the sorting out you are doing, Geoff crushed some chicken bones & blew fairy dust on mine last weekend sooo much better now!
2nd time round for me so I was expecting good results.

Cheers

I have a 66 plate EU4 GSA now and prior to that a 15 plate GSA. Both done and both great results. Smoother and more linear power delivery across the rev range and removal of the stuttering round town at partial throttle openings.

Thanks for the reply.
I know what you mean about the stuttering round town part.
I'll have to give it ago and see what happens. Does it take long to be done.

How do you mean run shit I don't think mines to bad really at low speed through towns and city it's can be a bit difficult

Hi Smithy_6_7,

I think what "stick" means is that the BMW engineers have had to create an engine for large geographic markets and to the toughest emission standards in all those markets. To do that they have had to compromise the fuelling on the engine, which results in sub-optimal performance. There are two places in the rev range where those compromises make the greatest difference. The BMW engineers are very good at doing that and the result, as you've already said, is good (or they wouldn't sell tens of thousands every year). It's only when you've had your bike Hilltopped, you see the effect the compromises have made.

What Geoff does is make the fuelling consistently efficient throughout the rev range, in effect making the engine run the way a design engineer would want, rather than a lawyer specialising in pan-European legislation. You would see an increase in power and torque, but the biggest thing you'll notice is the way the power is delivered at all speeds. It's smoother and more consistent, for example, the high speed vibration was reduced so much on my bike, I took the neoprene huggies off my hand grips and can enjoy my heated grips again.

My bike has just been serviced by my main dealer and their only comment was how well the bike is running.

With a more efficient engine, I use smaller throttle openings at all speeds. It might be a bit simplistic, but my fuel consumption has not changed so I doubt I'm chucking out any more noxious gases than I did before.

I hope that helps.

Hi
Thank you that does help I appreciate the comments.

I suppose as it's a top line bike you expect it to be already good all round which it is and that it can't be made better.

But looking through the post and your comments proves it does make a difference.

I think I'll book in and see for myself.

Thanks matt

Hi Matt,
I think you've already sent me your details and I've emailed you with some dates. If they don't suit, there will be more. Just let me know when you're ready.

The big thing about the Group Discount Dates, isn't just the £50 saving, but each time I've popped in, I've met some really interesting forum members and I bet there's something special about you too.
Best regards,
John S
