I have a standard 2014 GSLC TE which came with full Akro, remapped by Geoff. I'd like to put the standard pipe & headers back on the bike but worried as it was mapped by Geoff after fitting that it may throw a spanner in the works.

Any advice please?

I would say that it would be ok as it should adjust itself. Call Geoff he will be able to help. But please can I have first dibs on the full Akraprovic system as I am after one! Presuming you want to sell it of course

SOZ drew it's going on another bike, just wondered if I would encounter any pitfalls with going back to standard.
I like your style mind, first dibs 👍🏼🤣

The remap adjusts itself. If you had it mapped with standard exhaust and put on a after market exhaust it would adjust to take into account the free flowing nature of the gasses. And vice versa.

not true, when I had mine mapped, Geoff mapped it with the baffle out and de-catted headers etc., then he said if I put it back to standard, ie baffle back in, standard headers etc., it just richens it up a bit, as opposed to leanin it off(mappin with everythin standard then fitting decat, pipe etc.), the ECU will only learn so much, by this I mean to whatever parameters are set in the fuel map, either way, putting your bike back to standard, you'll be fine:thumby:
