Although I don't see the "evidence", I hope you guys will all join me in a laugh today while I wait to hear from Geoff. The question at the outset of the thread was "... Fact or Fiction". First a couple definitions:
Fact: a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true: Scientists gather facts ...
Fiction: literature in the form of prose, especially short stories and novels ...
This thread is now 15 pages long with 227 replies. After reading all the great short stories but not finding any measured observations, here's what comes through in the narrative:
--Hilltop is a respected company and Geoff is earnest and sincere
--Customers who have purchased Hilltop upgrades are very satisfied
On that basis, it seems that "fiction", used in a good way, best answers the original question of the thread. After all, don't Shakespeare's fictions inform us of some of the greatest truths? Of course Isaac Newton used a different method of factual observation to quantify and mathematically describe the world and were indebted to him too.
