Powered via a Thunderbox and mounted on a X-piece from India, the Garmin mount being carried on a rather neat Migsel mount I have used for years.

It looks OK, I think.

Note:

A. There is not a huge amount of room to attach / detach the XT. That though is due to the mount I used, as much as anything else.

B. A fellow Tosser turned the X-piece’s bar down for me, so that the Migsel mount fitted.

C. Someone using a Ram mount may not need to do B and may well be able to bring the whole shebang forward, creating a bit more space, negating A.

Looks good !

I see Enfield Accessories are doing their thing … doubtless Hitchcock’s will soon as well.

Of course, as I said, I have had the middle section of the bar reduced in diameter. This brings the Migsel mount (and as a consequence the XT) closer to the TFT display. Bods who do not need to reduce the bar section, may well find that gap between the device and the screen is wider.

Another alternative, would be to use the mount shown in post #2, where you can raise the height. If someone has the Enfield Accessories’ mount, I wonder if they be kind enough to measure the bar’s length, measured between the mount’s inner faces, please.
