Any recommendations for 50/50 Tyres?
Thinking about Dunlop Trailmax Raids, has anyone here tried them?

I’ve tried them on an Africa twin. Low road noise and surprisingly good grip, even on wet tarmac. No dramas at all and great grip on loose surfaces. Likely will struggle in thick mud but fine for most green landing. I bought the bike with them and didn’t expect much and was very pleasantly surprised. I’d recommend them.
If you fancy trying some Mitas Enduro Trail + tyres, I have a pair in great condition,3/4 worn at most, and in Himy sizes. 90/90 21 and 140/80 17. The rear is slightly narrower by number but not in practice due to the side knobs. It may reduce the gearing very slightly which is no bad thing if you are doing some off road stuff. They are going free gratis if you come and collect. Pictures attached.

Thanks for your offer Archie Beemer but I really want a new fresh set to fit.

FrankH, I did watch that video the other night...a good review of the Raids.

I’ve got the Dunlop raids on my 450 and they have been great. Used them for stuff like ACT Portugal and excellent on road wet or dry and off road too. Also had several sets on my 890 and they are definitely my tyre of choice for 50/50 use . They feel more like a 80/80 tyre if that makes sense they are so good.

@sniper, thanks. You've just reinforced my decision to get a set.
Should have the bike in three weeks, I'll run it about with the standard tyres for a while then swop them for the Raids
