Yip what yir getting at is Enduro is £2k dearer than your India trip


The big difference Enduro's India trip puts nearly £2k into local charity's so the riders are not the only ones to benefit from the trip.
Don't think there is any charity for the Himalaya trip but the piece of mind of a global tour operator rather than some back yard operator I know what I would go for.

Blazing Trails are backed by Jewel In the Crown who are pretty big.

I know Suzie doesnt make much of a profit.

How much did the whole thing cost you?

It is expensive at £3,500. Some of the people had only paid £3,000 as it has gone up since last Autumn. One of the girls in the office was telling me that her Husand who has just come back from a similar tour with Blazing Trails only paid £1,200..... I only hope she doesn't read this or he will have some explaining to do

Thanks Billy - my trip looks tame compared with yours We had a few from down under on our trip. One chap was Lou Zamberlan of the Boot Company family although he has no connection with the Italian side of the familiy with all the money. He was standing by the side of the road as a bus came past and someone was sick out of the window down his back We coined the phrase "You've been Zamberland" should anyone else get struck by projectile vomit.

I'm not sure of Colins family name. He has also done a few of the Southern India tours as ride leader. He is in one of the pics below i yellow jacket.

Most definately, we missed so much due to the road closures and there is just so much more to see such as the "real" highest road at 18,000 feet and also the Sphiti Valley which we missed.
