TXT jist in fae HRH Oonyack

at 09.43 sayin' "No far noo. I've reached Fort Wully."

He's right you know. By my reckonin' he's only got 21 oors (actual ridin' time) left in the saddle afore he reaches Jockgrim.

I bet he enjoys his first pint.

Just had a TXT fae him. This ane says:

"Now boarding the Newcastle ferry. Dinnae ask..."

I'm totally baffled and confused noo :nenau

It'll be a mixture of a sair erse from that plank of a seat on the KTM:ymca and an opportunity to get a few days extra on the pish...:nenau

Maybe he met up with Alte Wolf. I think he was taking that ferry too. :nenau

Aye, Deano's on that same ferry. Still cannae understand why HRH has had a' this palaver and then gets the ferry that he left a day early no' tae get :blast

He's got a new gel seat but sittin' on the fecker all the way from Skye to the borders, knowin' that you've still got a guid 14 or 15 hours in the saddle might have brought him tae his senses...:augie

He said he'd phone me once he's on board.

FFS I cannae wait tae hear this ane :D

Royal Update

Just spoken wi' Johnny. The story is that he got down to Carlisle and was soakin' wet. He phoned DFDS tae enquire aboot a refund for cancellin' his booking and got told he could get on today's ferry for a small admin fee.

Cauld, wet, sair back...

...his Seasick Phobia got pit on the back burner and he headed cross country tae Newcastle jist makin' the boarding time and nae mair. :augie

Noo, I've worked oot that he was in Fort William at 09.45. He must have been adhering to the speed limits richt enough tae get doon tae Carlisle and then across tae Geordieland tae make the 16.30 boarding.

I hope he had loads o' mud on his number plate :thumb

This is his story and he's stickin' tae it. :thumb

Ye'd think he'd be used tae long sea voyages............................

Al :augie

He is undoubtedly a nutter!! I think the prospect of a bumpy crossing on a ferry seemed like the better choice compared to suffering the wet n wild journey down, what a wuss!! Only cost £20 to change dates!! Lucky fecker!

Met Mort, Aidan and Mandylicious on Westgate Hill (Newcastle) at aboot half-two.. so they were less than 10 miles from the boat.

After I left and until about 5 it pished down... so they got a traditional send off from our lovely islands..
