Hinterstädtelfest T Shirts

Went for a wee run down to Campbelltown today to stock up on gin, rum and whisky:ChrisKelly:friday:boozer

(Cadenheads whisky shop stocks a good selection of the stuff that's bottled in the town...)

Passed a couple of Germans on BM's and got talking to them over lunch in the Wee Toon. Lady German had a look at the stickers on the panniers and asked where Oonyakistan was as she's never heard of the kingdom...

One short-ish explaination later and Mr German informs me that they live only a few kilometer from Jockgrim....

Seems word must have got out there in time:nenau

Ha, they escaped just in the nick of time!! Johnny rang up and explained that he had a Frankfurter in Frankfurt, which he found very amusing..:blast
and he had arrived in Jockgrim with Alte wolfe and was being sensible and going to bed early...aye riiiight!:handbag
 
Well, by the sounds of it, it's been a cracking weekend, many a litre has been drunk. Ronno however, who accuses me of being a clumsy fecker, tripped up and has possibly broken his wrist according to Johnny, stone cold sobre as well!!:blast:ronno

That’s the trouble with these new legs lighter, better performance but not built as well as the old ones(sounds familiar)

Douglas Bader never missed a trip over Germany with his trusty tin legs :D

Could a' the folk who got T Shirts send me their dosh. It worked oot at £8 per T shirt (I forgot aboot the VAT when I said they were aboot £6.80 :blast)

Much as I'd liked tae ha'e dished them oot free gratis, I cannae afford tae (anybidy goat 50p fur a cup o' tea :augie)

Noo, afore yiz a' say..."But we tried tae pay ye in Germany...", Aye, yiz did. In euros. Thank feck I didnae take them. They'd be gone by now...:thumb
