Hiplok Mega Chain, DX1000 and a GS1300

Hi all,

Has anyone any experience of the best way to attach the above products to a GS. Already have these products and can't seem to find a good way to attach to the GS without scratching wheels.

Have other products but really liked the security ratings on these products and seem to generally have good feedback, but amazes me that although it states suitable for motorbikes, I'm not that convinced they are that easy to use on a GS.

Anyone who has got any tips on how to route it or other ideas/products, would be most grateful for the info, searching seems to bring up unrealistic suggestions.

Not sure about the chain, but the DX1000 goes through the front wheel ok on a cast wheel 1300GS.

Yeah, can get the DX1000 through the front wheel but not the rear, which is where I would like to use. Can't help but feel width and length not really been thought through. Anyone experienced a litelok that works on the rear wheel or some other clever product thats easy to attach!

There is now a dxl1000 which is longer

Agreed, I tried with the rear wheel, wouldn't fit.

I only seem to be able to use the DX1000 on the strut above the driveshaft but not convinced this is as secure as going through a wheel.

It's too far to connect the mega chain to my anchor.
