Hi, maybe of interest the Hiplok DX1000 with the rubber removed (it will slide off) will fit over the rear wheel, albeit a very snug fit and may not on brand new tyres,
I will be using 2 of them on an upcoming Alps trip, my thoughts are it’s less bulk and weight than a large chain, and with 2 I should be able to secure to something solid if available.
After watching 2 wheel dreamer on YouTube have his bike stolen in France I thought I would double up the locks.
Admittedly they are very expensive but probably the best D lock available at the moment.

I have a Litelok x3 Moto.

Excellent security piece of artwork.

Fits through both wheel hubs comfortably, not at the same time 🤔

Like Hiplock, not cheap but totally worth it in my opinion.

Some might say the approximate 30day lead time is off putting. I rang them direct and received 2 days later.

I would have gone for the Litelok 3 but I am going away in just over a week and the stated lead time put me off, my thoughts having one of each brand would be a good move.

I would recommend you give them a ring. I was in the same situation as you and they helpfully got one for me the following day.

They are based in Swansea, 01792 712539.

The DX1000 easily fits over the front tyre and will only fit over the rear with the rubber removed, I would post a picture but I can’t seem to post one from my iPhone on here
Does put a bit of stress on the spokes when fitted, I took the rubber off and it fits flat on the floor now.IMG_2226 2.jpeg
