Hit -air vest /jackets

Hi one and all

Saw an advert in mcn this week about an air bag vest, had a look on the net seems a very good resonably priced peice of kit.
For my self who only realy rides on the (roads) i can only see advantages just wondered what views others had on these for and against.

i think they are a pretty good idea, and can see them as standard in bike kit in the future, although im guessing they are pretty expensive to refill if you fall off?

can also see that they might be a bit of a faff in every day use, and i dotn like the idea of being connected to the bike, althought thats the whole point and wont work any other way!

although in the mcn report, didnt they say that the one they tested didnt work properly?

wont be investing in one just yet, gotta wait for the current kit to wear out first and being rukka, that may be some time!
