i wonder how strong it be in a crash if the front jaw guard can unclip

Yeh Ive seen them, £179. They are aa cool idea but agree the chin guard doesnt feel or look too substantial.

It looks a little like the Nolan N43 which also has a detachable chin bar. People have the same concerns about that as well even though it's been tested and rated as both an open face and full face helmet. I suppose what we don't know is how difficult the test is for a full face and whether these helmets pass but by a lower margin?

I'm quite interested though because I need a replacement to my Concept which has been a really good helmet but I don't fancy the price or poor reviews of the C3. One of the features I love about the Concept is the 'city visor' where it pops forward to allow greater air flow. All too often I find riding with the visor cracked open a notch still allows the odd bug to smack me in the face but I do like the fresh air. The N43 is supposed to have excellent ventilationand this looks quite good too.

I like the idea of being able to change bits as i comute alot and it would be ideal for the summer months , would probably use the Shoei for the winter I also get told of for ridding with the flip open.

If anyone has had a good look at one is it quality or a bit flimsy ?
