I'm due a new helmet and fancy a flip front, Arai don't do a flip lid (to fit my Arai shaped head...) Shoei just don't fit me so I've narrowed it down to a Schuberth C3 but I really like the fit/feel & of the rather uncatchily named HJC RPHA max evo.

Has anyone had one?
Obviously comfort & fit is subjective but other user input welcomed.

I'm swinging for the HJC due to better fit & nicer 'feel' on operating visor/flip etc but the lure of the allegedly quiet Schuberth is lingering.

I have had 2 arai quantum's
A cheap shoei
A shoei multitech flip up
Now a shuberth C3 pro flip up
Which is ok build quality,
sun visor is a plus
Vent around the screen is not so good pin lock mists up in the middle (I think it's the shape of the visor) on very cold or wet days.
Not so keen on the Microlock Fastener to bulky
The wide visor is a plus

Arai build quality is second to none
If I was buying a new helmet it would probably be another arai
My quantum Kevin Schwantz replica is 11 years old and looks like brand new (used for about 6 years)

Pity they don't make a flip up

I have the HJC rpha...only use it when doing the long distance stuff...does the job for me.

Deffo not as comfy as my Arai full face but alot quieter and feels well put together.

Cheers for the info, nice to know the hjc is quieter than an Arai.
