My point is wouldnt you have had the hornet designed for the asian market, there must be a significant difference in shape/sizing for shoei/arai to bother making the different shell sizes. This point is of course moot if your are of asian origin.

I bought a Shoei Hornet in Tokyo and like all Shoei lids it has a different lining for the Japanese market - more 'round' than a Euro liner.

Helmet is good but the pressure on the forehead does become a problem after a couple of hours - I've never got round to scooping out some of the lining to create a more European friendly shape!

I wore a Japanese spec Shoei for years (88-93 ish) which had the same issue.

The Hornet cost 26,000 Yen in Japan (approx £130) in 2005, the DS version is listed in Tokyo at 43,000 Yen (£215). Worth the headache? Good question??
